David Kracov is an American sculptor born in Boston in 1968. The artist currently lives and works in Los Angeles. David Kracov graduated from the prestigious Rhode Island School of Design in 1990 and began his artistic career in animation with Brad Pitt’s film, “Cool World.” He then worked with Disney Animation, Don Bluth Animation, Rich Animation, and several other studios, contributing to films such as The Lion King, Aladdin, etc. Currently, he is the official sculptor for Disney Studios.

David Kracov creates vibrant and shimmering steel wall sculptures. Each sculpture is produced in a very limited edition. He starts by sketching hundreds of small drawings, which are then laser-cut from steel sheets. The volumes are then hand-painted with acrylic. Each edition is uniquely enhanced, making each sculpture unique.

The artist has captured the hearts of generations and has made his mark in the world of international contemporary art. Today, numerous public and private institutions around the world have acquired his works.
